New Bern Puppets gave ten performances of the Halloween show “The Giant and the Witch” at Duke Homestead’s Phantasmagoria.
The stages were set up on the slope of a small hill near the Duke Homestead building. Bales of hay were put out to provide seating for visitors who came to watch the shows. It was cool and dark but that did not discourage people from coming. The crowds attending had an enjoyful time.
