Community Days at NC History Center

Today New Bern Puppets performed 10 shows of “The Grunch Comes to Wonderland” at the Community Days event sponsored by Tryon Palace. Our puppet stages were set up in Maddox Hall at the North Carolina History Center.

We had 192 guests who came to watch the puppets shows, many stood or sat on the floor to watch. The crowds were enthusiastic and friendly.

After each show a puppeteer would emerge to demonstrate how marionettes are operated. As an added treat, children and adults were invited to take a peak behind the scenes. Such a wonderful time for everyone!
