Puppets Bring Holiday Cheer to Aycock Candlelight

We concluded our show “Christmas Gifts for a Witch?” tonight at the Candlelight event at Aycock Birthplace State Historic Site. We gave five performances of our show. Most of our guests were adults, but they were as enthusiastic as our younger audiences.

We set up our stages in the historic schoolhouse. It looked quite festive. While a cold night, the staff heated up the building through the iron stove.

We set up the little elf on the days where in the 19th Century the school master conducted the class. The schoolboys entered through door on the left while the girls entered through the right.
