New Bern Puppets at Eastern North Carolina Renaissance Faire

On April 22nd and 23rd New Bern Puppets presented several shows each day of “Henry VIII Goes to Wonderland” at the Eastern North Carolina Renaissance Faire at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds in Kinston, NC. Thousands of people flocked to the event, many dressed as Medieval people or 18th Century pirates. There were many vendors this years.

The organizers at the Eastern North Carolina Renaissance Faire set up a 20×20 tent to provide shade for people to watch the marionette shows. They also provided bales of hay to serve as seating. So nice of them!

It was a joy seeing so many people enjoy the Faire and watch their first marionette puppet show! Alas, we had to no photographer to take photos during the performance but enjoy the photos.
