New Bern Puppets at Grace Classical School

New Bern Puppets had a delightful time giving four short Biblical skits today to the students and faculty at Grace Classical School in Jacksonsville, North Carolina, for their Middle Ages Fair. To watch the performances the students gathered in the sanctuary of Brookward Baptist Church.

The younger students, many dressed in Middle Ages costumes, enjoyed poking their heads inside the stages and examining the miniature props.

Afterwards Dennis Listermann-Vierling discussed the history of puppetry with the students, showed them how to operate marionettes, and gave them a backstage tour of the puppet stages. The students asked excellent questions and three expressed the wish to become future puppeteers!
